From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot landed at apa following a 2 plus hour sight seeing flight. Upon touchdown the right main gear began vibrating strongly and the pilot experienced a strong veer to the right. He was able to overcome the deviation until just as he slowed to exit the runway. At that time he had insufficient rudder authority to overcome the right turning tendency. The right extended flap impacted a landing light.

Subsequent examination of the tire and innertube identified a punctured inner tube.

As the FAA filed it
