From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During crosswind landing on runway 18 at Anacortes, WA airport, pilot drifted slightly to the left of centerline and corrected back to the center of the runway. He felt he may have approached the runway at a slower than usual airspeed, but after correcting for the drift he touched down in a three point attitude. During the rollout he applied the brakes to heavily and the tail rose up and the propeller struck the runway surface as the aircraft continued to flip onto its wing. No injuries were sustained by the pilot. No other damage other than to the aircraft.
