From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman was conducting parachute operations on date of incident and had flown approximately 6 flight hours at time of event. After jumpers exited aircraft at 14500 feet airman proceeded to return to dcm airport and extended gear. Charlotte ATC gave pilot instructions to avoid conflicting traffic and pilot raised gear since his approach was thereby delayed. Airman failed to lower gear and noticed this in landing flare. A go around was executed but before descent was arrested both props contacted runway. Pilot elected to continue go around and made another approach with gear down and landed normally.
