From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC elected to perform a soft field take-off from the firm gravel runway at ID85. During the take-off ground roll, pilot noted that the stall horn was continuously audible while the aircraft became airborne while in ground effect two times then settling back down on the estimated fifty percent of remaining runway before becoming airborne to an altitude of approximately 20-30 feet AGL. The aircraft was not able to gain additional airspeed and stalled. As a result of the stall, the aircraft impacted the ground past the runway in a grass/plant covered rough field.

The pilot and passenger executed emergency shutdown procedures and exited the aircraft. No injuries to the pilot or passenger were reported. No post-accident fire. Aircraft sustained substantial damage.
