From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was being utilized for flight training. During the landing phase the gear handle was moved to the gear down position. Once it was realized that the gear down indication was not illuminated the aircraft departed the pattern and began trouble shooting procedures. All trouble shooting procedures were ineffective. The aircraft was prepared for a gear up emergency landing. The aircraft landed with the nose gear in the down and locked position while the main gear was partially retracted. The rear engine suffered a propeller strike and the airframe suffered minimal damage (main gear doors and antennas). There were no injuries sustained during the incident.
