From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While performing touch and go landings to remain current the pilot neglected to lower the landing gear. The pilot stated that when he began his flare to landing a horn sounded that he stated sounded like the stall warning. He glanced at his airspeed indicator and then realized it was the gear horn but he stated ?by then it was too late?. Pilot also stated that he had never heard the gear warning horn before and the stall warning only once before during flight training in this particular aircraft. Minimal damage was inflicted on the aircraft.
