From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Shortly after touchdown, the right landing gear collapsed on roll-out. The flying pilot (left seat) was receiving flight instruction for a commercial rating from the CFI in the right seat. Both pilots stated that the landing gear was selected down on the downwind leg and the gear safe light was verified as green on all legs to landing. They stated that they also visulally verified that the gear was down and appeared to be locked. When the aircaft was placed on jacks and a landing gear retraction inspection and check was conducted, no defect were noted through several gear cycles. Two eye witnesses statements indicate that the landing gear was in transition when the aircraft touched down. A video recording from a local FBO was viewed and although the aircraft was distant, it appeared to show the same.

As the FAA filed it
