From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft suffered a right main gear collapse upon touchdown on landing. The aircraft almost immediately departed the runway to the right and came to rest in the grass to the right of the runway. The damage to the aircraft is repairable and limited to both of the flaps, the right engine, the right propeller, and minor skin damage to the right side of the fuselage. Aircraft was in annual and logbooks appeared to be in order. Tires installed on the aircraft appeared to be the correct size and in good condition. Aircraft displayed a single green light indicating a safe down and locked indication despite the right main landing gear being collapsed.
