From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On take-off roll to the south, acft began wandering to the left. Left wing contacted brush/trees on east side of the field. Acft was airborne for a short time, but landed nose first into the tall grass and ground looped in a counter clockwise direction. Right wing tip dug into a marshy part of the field. PIC believes he was pushing on his right rudder pedal and the right seaters left rudder pedal at the same time, preventing him from correcting the acft back to centerline.
