From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

CFI instructor took control of aircraft as PIC and performed several gear cycles, perform rudder turns and wingtip side to side maneuvers, right gear still showed unsafe indications. CFI performed emergency landing gear extension procedures, unsafe gear indications for right gear remained. CFI replaced bulb in annunciator, no change to unsafe gear indication. CFI contacted cno tower and performed a low and slow fly by, cno tower reported to CFI all gear appeared to be down. CFI attempted normal landing and on initial touch down aircraft stayed level, right gear collapsed shortly after touch down aircraft shifted to the right off the runway in dirt and grass area then stopped. The right engine propellers made contact with the edge of the runway, bent both propellers and kicked dirt over right wing. CFI and student pilot departed aircraft with no injuries.
