From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On Monday the 17 June 2019 at 6:00 am ^christine^ was planing to depart the airstrip on Hewitt Lake to fly to willow. The airstrip veers to the left about the middle of the runway.

My ^christine^ husband ^martin wegscheider^ was on board.

^Christine^ pulled out from the parking spot, lined up, moved the plane forward to straitening out the tail wheel, made the engine run up, radio announcement for departure and east bound flight.

Powered up for take off.

Hit a hole. The airstrip was covered with grass so you could not see the hole. Plane was going to the right, tried to bring the plane to the left.

Didn't work ( ground was really soft, I checked tire marks afterward, bush wheel on the right side left tracks 1 inc. deep)

Was coming to FAR right, right wing hit a taler brush, turned the plane into the bushes.

Ground was softer then usual airman stated they should have stopped when they hit the hole.
