From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Ground collision between two aircraft. Aircraft N274MM was stopped on taxiway c and second in in line at hold short for runway 26R. Aircraft N926FE taxied into back of N274MM. N926FE continued forward until ring wing strut impacted rudder and vertical stab of N274MM. The spinner of N926FE also contacted the left wing of N274MM and damaged the left aileron and left flap. Both aircraft were shut down at the site and remained until fire, leo, and FAA personnel arrived. No injuries to occupants of either aircraft.
