From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft N962SS was on approach to kvny. ATC advised that there was moderate to severe turbulence. The flight crew notified the cabin server to take a seat. When she did not take a seat, they continued to notify her and then motioned her to take a seat. While she was walking to her seat the aircraft hit turbulence, and she flew up off the floor and hit the ceiling, then dropped to the floor and broke her leg. The crew notified ATC to have paramedics waiting at the ramp to meet the aircraft.
