From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Piper seneca v N9295N began takeoff roll on runway 27L. At approximately 75 knots, the pilot noticed the airspeed indicator needle began bouncing up and down before dropping to zero knots. Approximately 4 seconds later the pilot decided to abort the takeoff and applied heavy brakes. The 1200-foot skid mark eventually caused the left main tire to fail further limiting the aircraft controllability on roll out. The aircraft departed the end of runway 27L hitting one taxing light in the middle of the runway with the left prop and coming to rest approximately 170 degrees in the opposite direction.
