From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot states that he filled the aircraft up with fuel at Augusta regional airport (ags) and was in route to Daniel Field (dnl) to get the oil changed on both engines. He states that the traffic pattern was full of airplanes taking off and landing on runway 11. He then states that he had gotten into the pattern and was landing on runway 11 and thought he was pulling the throttles back but pulled the prop feather handles back instead, feathered both props and shut off both engines. The pilot states that he had landed the aircraft long. After touch down the aircraft went through a fence at the end of runway 11 and across highland avenue and into another fence on the other side of the road causing substantial damage to the aircraft.
