From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The student pilot departed kcoi, merit island airport with a final destination of X60, Williston Municipal Airport. The pilot landed with no issues at X60 and proceeded to taxi to the airport FBO. As the pilot approached the end of the taxiway he observed it was blocked by a gate. The pilot decided to complete a 180 degree turn and continue to the FBO. While performing the turn the right wing made contact with the hanger. The plane then yawed and the propeller struck the hanger.
