From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

They flew into kcoi from kcty, joined the left (pattern) downwind for runway 11. Extended the downwind leg because of traffic. They were on long final & the approach was steady with not too much airspeed & then suddenly the a/c rolled to the left & then it rolled to the right extremes. They contacted runway with the right landing gear which resulted in breaking the right landing gear wheel completely from the a/c. they executed a go around & then did a couple of low passes on the air field until the ground emergency services came in as instructed by the chief pilot. After a couple of low passes I went in for the landing. Upon touchdown the aircraft slid off the runway into a ditch.

As the FAA filed it
