From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After take off from 0J6, PIC heard a loud "pop" when retracting the landing gear. Gear indicator light identified an unsafe gear. PIC then put the gear down and received a safe gear indicaiton on the main landing gear, but unsafe on the nose gear. Pilot requested to divert to dhn and attempted an emergency gear extension. At dhn, pilot conducted a flyby and was informed the nose gear was not fully down. Pilot attempted to land on RW-14. At roll out, both main landing gear and nose gear collapsed. Pilot and passenger exited the aircraft without injuries.
