From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

This was a gear-up landing incident. Pilot stated that they left sleetmute en route to Crooked Creek. They received a satellite message which stated "more cancellations due to the situation". He was unsure of the meaning of the message and was discussing it with his son, who was onboard. Pilot entered pattern and slowed to flap speed and reduced throttle to idle prior to touchdown. Pilot stated he was clearly distracted and realized he had forgotten to lower the gear once the aircraft touched down. Pilot stated there were no mechanical issues with the aircraft that would have distracted him during the landing.
