What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
N25HE a Cessna T240 on may 6, 2020 was on a flight from paragould, ar (kpgr) to Gonzales, TX (T20). Weather was reported as clear, 87 degrees and wind from 080 at 13KTS with gusts to 20 knots. At 4,000 feet and approximately 10 miles north of T20 with the airport in sight, pilot entered traffic pattern for runway 33 from the northeast on a right downwind traffic pattern. Final approach speed was approximately 130KTS so speed brakes were used to slow the aircraft. Aircraft contacted the runway at approximately 100KTS, and 1/3 down the runway. Pilot after realizing he was unable to stop before the end of the runway, initiated a go around, unable to generate enough lift, pilot then decided to abort the go around resulting in leaving the runway causing substantial damage to the landing gear and a propeller strike. Aircraft came to rest approximately 200 yards from the end of the runway. Approximate fuel on board was 50%, no post-crash fire and pilot reported no injuries.
