From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon intercepting the LOC for the ILS RWY15 (circle RWY6) hit a bird (canadian goose). Both crew and passengers heard a loud thump from the lower front chin of the aircraft. After a quick discussion, the crew made the decision to land on rwy 15 accepting the slight crosswind. Landing was uneventful. Upon post flight inspection, there was evidence of a large bird strike on the lower radome, front gear doors, and along the bottom of the aircraft thru the bottom strake/bottom of center wing.
