From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 03/03/21, PIC of N2374J was landing at krvn airport. On short final around 50 ft off the ground the aircraft dropped suddenly due to gusty wind conditions and wind shear. This caused a hard landing which broke the left main gear. The PIC executed a go-around. On the go-around, the left main gear departed the aircraft. On the second landing the PIC steered the aircraft to the left off the runway into a small ditch which collapsed the nosegear. Becuase the nose gear is connected to the engine mount, it also broke the motor mount, making this an accident.
