From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Crew experienced failure of the emergency bus 2, on climb out. Declared an emergency and returned to airfield. Crew performed EAP-30, "emergency bus off light" procedure from qrh which they interpreted as "land as soon as practical." Upon final, crew experienced abnormal gear indication. Only system "b" available and indicated gear unsafe condition "red". Crew requested 2 passes for tower to evaluate gear condition. Tower could not confirm and stated they think gear appears down. Upon touchdown gear was not down and aircraft propeller blades and aircraft undercarriage impacted the runway and began a skid to a stop in the grass on the east side of the runway. Crew shutdown aircraft and egressed with no injuries. Crew did not perform manual gear deployment.
