From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On March 27, 2021 the pilot took off from Ogden, Utah airport (kogd) on a personal sightseeing flight. At approximately 1745 that day, he returned to the same airport for landing. During landing rollout and with less than a 10 mph crosswind, the aircraft made a violent left turn as the tailwheel came around. The pilot then increased power and added right rudder in an attempt to elevate the tail in order to regain rudder authority. The aircraft then veered off of runway 35 and ground-looped, resulting in the right main landing gear breaking and folding under itself, right wing damage, right flap damage, and a prop strike.
