From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot in control(student) was not multi engine qualified. Pilot in command was CFI. Student was practicing touch and go on airstrip. On second landing, student reconfigured plane and stated "flaps up", audibly confirmed by CFI. Student started departure when right side of plane started to sink. CFI saw that gear was in "up" position. CFI immediately put gear lever in "down" postion. Left gear partially retracted causing aircraft to go right off of runway. Right wing struck a runway side light, causing wing damage. Both proprellers struck the ground and were damaged. Left engine also stopped. CFI shut off riht engine. There were no injuries.
