From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While landing at a private strip in rainy conditions the pilot reported that the runway was slippery and the aircraft went off the end of the runway sustaining prop and nose wheel damage.

Trees were to tall to complete a go around at the end of the runway.

Investigation: I was notified by FSDO that on (07/06/2021) (at place red dog) did not comply with (safety requirement,

When they failed to (suffered and accident upon landing). The FAA became aware on (7/06/2021).

Root cause analysis (rca): this deviation was due to (nil braking action on the wet runway due to inclement weather.).

Corrective action: (pilot) corrected the (safety issue

) When the inspector counseled the pilot on adhering to others recommendations of not going there when the runway is wet and the importance of expediting a go around.

Comments: I used (counseling, to regain (compliance and safe operations). I (am satisfied the certificate holder?s corrective actions fully address the identified cause(s) and (have)

Reestablished (compliance or safe operations). I recommend no further action.
