From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot requested and was cleared to land on runway 17, ksln. Weather was clear and runway was dry. Pilot executed an uneventful landing and was on roll-out when he felt the airplane sag slightly in a right wing down direction. Pilot stated he just had time to think he blew a tire when the airplanes right side suddenly dropped to contact the wingtip to the runway. At that time he could only cage the engines and ride out the slide. The aircraft sustained a right hand propeller strike and sheet metal damage to the right flap, right lower wing tip, and right main landing gear inboard door. The aircraft came to rest at the west shoulder of the tarmac approximately 680 feet south of the point of touch down. Pilot and passenger exited the aircraft without difficulty and un-injured.
