From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Statement for pilot.

I landed on runway 14 with a 1 knot crosswind from the right side. I approached the runway at the prescribed 90 mph and flared like any normal landing. After the wheels touched down and I had tail authority I began to put the plane into beta. During that time I felt the plane lunge and then I slide sideways. After the plane came to rest, I shutdown all the systems and began to help my wife out of the plane. At that time I realized that the landing gear had collapsed. No one was injured and everyone egress'ed safely.
