From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot and passenger departed kaaf earlier that day and had a relatively normal Flight. The original intended destination for the Flight was klch but due to gusting winds the pilot ultimately decided to divert to kcwf which was reporting less windy conditions. Upon touchdown, the aircraft banked to the right and rolled on the right main towards the right edge of the runway. The pilot attempted to go around by adding power. This ultimately exacerbated the bank and caused the wing to hit the ground - which resulted in the propeller to hit the ground and the aircraft to flip. The pilot and passenger was able to get their seatbelts unfastened and luckily no one was injured.

As the FAA filed it
