A Piper P28R with n registration N44KD, was being operated by a private pilot when it failed to lower its landing gear prior to landing on the run way at Slidell Airport. The aircraft is leased by privacy data omitted. Damaged sustained to the aircraft involved a damaged propeller, potential damage to the engine due to impact, damage to the landing gear and damage to the lower body cowling and fairings. No injuries reported.
