From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During landing on runway 30 at Mojave (kmhv), with a firm touch down, the left wing tip was damaged due to contact with the runway. The crew reported atos winds of 260 degrees at 29 gusting to 39 for landing. The crew report agrees with the forecast conditions. The flight data recorder was analyzed by aero instruments & avionics in depew NY. The report indicates a touch down vertical acceleration of 1.6 g?s which does not qualify as a hard landing. From an altitude of 50 feet to touchdown, the airspeed decayed from 136 knots cas to 114 knots. The roll attitude at touchdown was 10 degrees left wing down. A post flight inspection revealed damage to the left wing tip, flap and flap track fairing. The flight attendant reported passenger service units for rows 11, 12 and 14 had dropped down, no passengers were seated in those rows. There were no injuries to the three crew members or eight passengers.
