From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was a student pilot on solo flight in the pattern. He stated that he thought he would land within the first 1/3 of the runway with suffencient room to stop. However, he landed to FAR down the runway and did not have enough runway available to stop the aircraft. The aircraft departed the runway to left, approximately 100 ft from the end of the runway. The aircraft then went off a steep embankemnt. The nose of the aircraft struck the ground and flipped the aircraft.
