From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot ran engine up to full power with brakes held then release for takeoff roll. 3100 ft grass strip with a treeline approx 50 ft off end of runway. At approx the 1/3 mark (100 ft) the pilot stated he "didn't feel it (sufficient lift)" and pulled the throttle back to initiate a rejected take-off. Damp grass made braking less than effective and aircraft went through end of runway and impacted trees. Nose gear sheared off, both wings damaged, firewall torn away at bottom of fuselage and fuselage crumpled at interior bulkhead.
