What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot stated that he had replaced the brakes and repacked the main landing gear bearings with grease. He then took the aircraft out for a personal flight. He stated that something "didn't feel right" as he took off. He flew the pattern and came in for a landing on the grass parallel to runway 18. As he touched down, the aircraft veered to the right because the right brake locked. He added left brake in an attemt to straighten out. As he applied the left brake the nose went over and the aircraft flipped upside down on the grass.
