From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

ATC tower directed pilot to enter left base for landing RWY24 at Bowman Field Airport. Pilot started executing landing checklist when tower called to ask when he was turning final before he completed the "gear down" item of the checklist. The low-time pilot thought he had made a mistake so he became anxious and nervous. He continued approach but never went back to his landing checklist before landing, so the landing gear was never put in the down and locked position, resulting in a gear-up landing. There was minor damage to the aircraft and no injuries.
