From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot departed Beverly airport (bvy) for the first flight of the day. The intention of the flight on the day of the incident was to remain in the local traffic pattern and perform 3 full stop landings to accomplish 3 night time landings within past 90 days to maintain currency. After departure and on the first landing attempt the pilot did not lower the landing gear for landing causing the aircraft to contact the runway surface causing damage to the lower structure of the landing gear doors and both propellers striking the runway surface causing engine sudden stoppage. The aircraft came to rest left of centerline approximately 100 feet from initial contact with the runway. The pilot notified control tower of the incident and exited the aircraft.
