From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omittedHad just parked at gate 4 at the Montgomery regional airport. The recieving ground crew members were briefed that the aircrafts left engine would remain running until the jetway ground power unit was installed to the aircraft and to remain at thier assigned positions until the aircraft was shut down. A ground crew member, assigned as the left wing walker, after the aircraft was parked, left their position and walked to the tail section of the aircraft to place a cone. In doing so, the ground crew member was pushed by the running left engine's exhaust. After placing the cone, the ground crew member walked back to the left wing tip, passed it and began to walk in front of the left wing and eventually within 8 feet of the running left engine's intake. As a result, the ground crew member was ingested into the engine's intake and recieved fatal injuries.
