From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: on may 19, 2023, about 1410 local time, the PIC was taxiing down the runway at dutch harbor airport (Unalaska) for takeoff. During the 180-degree turn on the runway, the PIC noticed the left engine starting to run rough and then it quit. The PIC was not able to turn the aircraft around and could not taxi back to the hangar due to asymmetrical thrust issues. The PIC then shut down on the runway. Maintenance towed the aircraft back to the hangar for inspection. Upon inspection, maintenance found several issues with the left-hand engine’s fuel and ignition systems.
