What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During push back, just after the second engine start. The flight attendant called the flight deck after smelling and seeing smoke in the cabin. Upon notification to the flight deck the decision was made to evacuate the aircraft using the main cabin door, emergency commands were not used, passengers evacuated in an orderly fashion via the airstairs onto the ramp and gathered at the fence line by ground agents. Crash, fire, and rescue responded to the aircraft. No emergency was declared to ATC by the PIC. No injuries were reported by passengers or crew.
