From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Part 91 performing touch and goes with two persons on board, the pilot (PIC) and a passenger. On the first touch and go, the aircraft landed and continued to climb out normally. On the second touch and go, the aircraft landed normally and proceeded to climb out and at approximately 100 feet AGL, the PIC felt the aircraft begin to sink and perceived the engine to be failing. The PIC made the decision to push the nose down to avoid and land the aircraft straight ahead within the airport boundary.
