From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot received solo endorsement on the make and model of aircraft after receiving instruction and completeing three touch and go and pattern flights. Student pilot began his first solo in make and model and began to make an approach to do a touch and go. The flare was early and resulted in a hard landing and bounce, the PIC then overcorrected with a nose down adjustment and bounced again. The PIC at this point applied full power the nose pitched up and stalled. The aircraft landed on the nose gear snapping off the front landing gear. The left-wing sustained damage and partial seperation from the fuselage after contact with the ground and a fuel leak was the result.
