From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated he completed the before landing checklist and verified he had three green. He made an uneventful landing and rolled out approximately 1000 feet after touchdown. He stated he slowed the aircraft and turned on to the taxiway. During taxi the nose landing gear collapsed resulting in damage to the prop and cowling. The nose landing gear retraction system was inspected and no obvious defects were found. The aircraft will be placed on jacks for a comprehensive inspection at a later date.
