From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The PIC entered the traffic pattern for runway 29 at kbvs. While in the traffic pattern, the PIC extended its downwind leg for multiple landing traffic on long finals for runway 29. The PIC got distracted from performing the pre-landing checklist while communicating/coordinating with the landing traffic ahead, communicating with traffic holding short of runway 29, and visually scanning for the landing traffic. The failure to perform the pre-landing checklist caused the PIC to land the aircraft on runway 29 with the landing gear in the up position.
