From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 03/10/2025, at approximately 1739 EDT, subject aircraft was departing kcre when right after takeoff a large flock of birds flew in front of the aircraft. As a result, the aircraft struck multiple birds to which the crew reported they noticed an immediate noticeable change in the engine tone. The crew elected to return to kcre and landed without further incident.

Aircraft inspection revealed evidence of bird ingestion into #2 engine. Also, the right-hand landing light door experienced negligible damage.
