From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 15, 2025, at approximately 1235 central daylight time, a Fairchild M-62A-3, had a hard landing and impacted propeller on the runway near the departure end of runway 35 at Dallas executive airport (rbd). The aircraft landed at approximately 80 miles per hour (mph) and bounced. Per the pilot upon setting back down the brakes were firmly applied and the aircraft tipped forward. At this point the propeller impacted the ground under power damaging the propeller and the nose cowling of the aircraft. The pilot observed damage to the propeller, nose cowling, and the right tire was flat. The pilot was uninjured and the aircraft sustained minor damage. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the incident.
