From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed allentown airport (kabe) on a IFR flight to University Park Airport (kunv). The weather was IFR and IMC conditions were present at the time of approach and landing. The aircraft was on vectors to the final approach course for the RNAV approach to runway 6 at kunv. The pilot indicated he was having trouble establishing the aircraft on the inboard course for the approach, this is evident by the review of the flight track on flight aware. The pilot indicated that the distracation of establishing the aircraft on the approach caused him not to put the landing gear down. The aircraft landed on runway 6 at kunv with the gear up. In the recovery of the aircraft, it was lifted off the runway by a crane. The mechanic on scene indicated the gear switch was in the up position. When the mechanic acitivated the gear switch in the down position gear operated normally.
