From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The instructor was conducting training on a ppl student. After doing take-offs and landings on a larger runway at another airport, the instructor let the student attempt a landing on the shorter and narrower runway. The instructor related that the student bounced the landing, the instructor then took control and added full power. The aircraft being configured and trimmed for landing, with full flaps, and a high angle of attack entered a left turn and the left wing stalled. The left wing contacted the ground and the aircraft cartwheeled into the trees.
