From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Landed on runway 36L at approximately 1930Z and struck a wingtip upon landing. The subject aircraft notified the Orlando (mco) control tower of the incident at approximately 1938Z. Visible damage was confirmed by the flight crew; no injuries were reported. privacy data omitted Provided a debrief of the incident on March 30, 2026, presenting evidence gathered from the flight data recorder (FDR), cockpit voice recorder (CVR), and pilot interviews.

The event was characterized by the captain’s loss of stabilized lateral control in the final seconds prior to touchdown. Increasing left-wing-down bank and persistent drift led to a wing-clearance exceedance before a main-gear-supported landing was achieved.

Abrasion damage was noted on the underside of the left wing near the wingtip assembly.

A high load landing event (hlle) was confirmed and considered very severe due to a detected high roll rate (approx. -20 deg/sec) upon impact on the left-hand main landing gear (LH MLG), followed by a high bounce on the right-hand main landing gear (RH MLG).

Both main gear assemblies required replacement due to the hlle.

As the FAA filed it

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED ON RUNWAY 36L AT APPROXIMATELY 1930Z AND STRUCK A WINGTIP UPON LANDING. THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT NOTIFIED THE ORLANDO (MCO) CONTROL TOWER OF THE INCIDENT AT APPROXIMATELY 1938Z. VISIBLE DAMAGE WAS CONFIRMED BY THE FLIGHT CREW; NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ PROVIDED A DEBRIEF OF THE INCIDENT ON MARCH 30, 2026, PRESENTING EVIDENCE GATHERED FROM THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER (FDR), COCKPIT VOICE RECORDER (CVR), AND PILOT INTERVIEWS.
