From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During a part 105 parachute event 2 of the jumpers were doing what is known as tracking. At some phase of the jump the 2 individuals collided causing serious injuries to one of the jumpers and then second jumper was deceased due to thier injuries. The inured jumper was able to deploy their main parachute and land. The second jumper's automatic deployment device for thier reserve parachute deployed the reserve parachute. All of the equipment was examined at the scene by a master parachute rigger and it appears to have functioned correctly.
