From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The airman rotated the aircraft at about 60 mph. The aircraft suddenly and abruptly turned to the left.

On the left side of the runway is a solid terrain wall about 8 feet high. The aircraft turned FAR enough to the left (180 degrees) that the right wing made contact with the terrain wall. The right wing sustained damage.

The propeller had green grass stains on it. The airman said the grass is tall in that area and the propeller went through the grass but did not contact the ground or the terrain wall.
